These Food Intolerance Tests are based on a quick and easy pinprick blood sample which can be taken in the comfort of your own home. Once you have ordered your Food Intolerance Test and received your sample collection pack, you can simply watch the video on how to do the Food Intolerance Test and follow the instructions - there is also a Procedure Card to help you. Once you have completed the steps, just send your sample back to the laboratory for testing in the pre-paid return envelope provided.

Make sure that you read the 'Important Notes' before ordering your Food Intolerance Test (see the bottom of this page).

What is IgG Food Intolerance Testing?

Food based antigens cause the immune system to produce an antibody that specifically reacts with it. IgG-mediated reactions to food antigens are known as food intolerances or food sensitivities and may be delayed by several hours or days and cause an inflammatory response. On the other hand, IgE food antibody reactions are quite immediate, produce a histamine response and are known as food allergies. Immunoglobulin G (IgG) testing for food intolerances is a useful guide for people with many conditions as seen above.
