What is IgG Food Intolerance Testing?
Food based antigens cause the immune system to produce an antibody that specifically reacts with it. IgG-mediated reactions to food antigens are known as food intolerances or food sensitivities and may be delayed by several hours or days and cause an inflammatory response. On the other hand, IgE food antibody reactions are quite immediate, produce a histamine response and are known as food allergies. Immunoglobulin G (IgG) testing for food intolerances is a useful guide for people with many conditions as seen above.

Ensure that you remember to request your Food Intolerance Test sample collection pack.
Make sure that you have watched the video and read the Procedure Card on the CNS laboratory website before starting your test.
Avoid all prebiotics and probiotics, natural live yoghurt, kefir or any other live bacteria food or supplement for 2 weeks prior to taking the Food Intolerance Test. Ensure that you wait 2 weeks after having antibiotics or antifungals before taking this test.
