GUT & DIGESTIVE TESTS
Are you experiencing any of the following ?

Bloating, constipation, diarrhoea, IBS, irritable bowel syndrome, acid reflux, indigestion, bad breath, flatulence, wind, stomach cramps, IBD, diverticulitis or Crohns.
These are all symptoms that the gut and digestive system may be out of balance and that there may be toxic microorganisms present such as an overgrowth of bacteria, yeast, fungus or a parasitic infection. These toxins can, in turn, affect the entire body and cause secondary symptoms such as tiredness, cravings, feeling 'hung over', tired on waking, chronic fatigue (CFS), painful muscles, fibromyalgia, inflamed joints, arthritis, beer belly, putting on weight for no reason, difficulty with weight loss, sinus problems, PMS, thrush, fungal infections, brittle nails, chest infections, cystitis, migraines, headaches, sore throats, ear infections, skin problems, itchy skin, skin rashes, eczema or psoriasis. Both bulimia and anorexia have been linked to gastrointestinal infections.

Many people who clear yeasts or pathogenic bacteria in their systems go on to be much more tolerant of foods and we often recommend a gut or digestive test before taking a Food Intolerance Test. You could avoid the food culprit for a while but the underlying issue will still be present, and may be getting worse. In the end, you may not be able to tolerate certain foods at all without severe symptoms.
The last word is reserved for that of the Parasite! This clever organism lives off the host person whom it has infected. It can cause all manor of gastrointestinal problems including diarrhoea, migraines, IBS, IBD, Crohn’s, diverticulitis, as well as severe bloating and pungent flatulence. It can also cause severe skin problems such as psoriasis. As the skin is the largest detoxification organ of the body, if the liver cannot cope with the toxins, they will come out through the skin. There is a particular way of dealing with parasites but firstly a Gut or Digestive test must be undertaken to see if they are present.
At Think Nutrition, over the past 20 years, we have seen an increasing number of parasite cases that feature systemic complaints not traditionally associated with parasites by the medical profession, such as: infertility, severe skin complaints, reactive arthritis, migraines, headaches, psoriasis, alopecia, hormonal imbalances, chronic fatigue syndrome, M.E and asthma. We have also had gut tests back from those with bowel cancer showing TMC for parasites (Too Many to Count) and coincidentally when these parasites were eradicated, the person was given the all clear from cancer.
